Global Student Privacy Policy
We do not sell student data. We do not run third-party advertising networks. Your homework images, question prompts, and academic progress are used strictly to provide personalized tutoring and are never commercialized.
1. Scope & Data We Process
AceNova (package: com.acenova.app) collects minimal personal data necessary to provide personalized tutoring:
- Account Identification: Email address and verified account UID via Google Firebase Authentication.
- Educational Curriculum: Selected grade and target exams (e.g. AP, SAT, GCSE, CBSE) to tailor MCQs and tutor responses.
- Learning Metrics: Quiz responses, study streak data, and weak-topic tags.
- Direct Inputs: Questions asked via chat, voice, or scanned homework photos processed for text OCR.
2. Child Protection (COPPA & GDPR-K)
We implement strict safeguards for students under the age of majority:
- We do not collect phone numbers, physical addresses, or government identification numbers.
- We do not track students across third-party websites or serve targeted ads.
- Parents and legal guardians may review, correct, or permanently delete their child's data by emailing

3. Cloud Infrastructure
Data processing is supported by trusted, SOC 2 compliant enterprise cloud infrastructure: Google Cloud/Firebase (storage & auth), Cloudflare Workers (edge routing), RevenueCat (subscription entitlement validation), and enterprise AI inference partners with zero data-retention policies.
4. Permanent Account & Data Deletion
Users can delete their account directly inside the app under Settings > Account Security > Delete Account. Upon request, all personal data, study history, and chat interactions are permanently purged from all active databases and backups within 30 days.
